The topography of North Sulawesi is mountainous, adorned with rivers, lakes, and also embraces by long coastal lines with beautiful white-sand beaches.
 
Inhabited by a majority of Minahasa, Bolaang Mongondow, Sangihe and Talaud ethnic groups, each with their distinct cultural backgrounds, the area of North Sulawesi is llustrated  as a land of great wealth in diverse traditional arts and culture.

 

One of the most wellknown place in the world and should not miss to be visit is Bunaken National Sea Garden. 

The whole area comprises of Bunaken, Manado Tua, Siladen, Nain, and Mantehage islands. 

The sea garden of Bunaken Island is especially magnificent and abundant with various forms and with various colors of the corals and underwater creatures and fishes.

 

Beside the famous underwater sea garden, Manado also has some places that could be a choice for tourist or business man. 

Tondano lake, locate in Tondano, just around 45 minutes by drive from Manado city. 

There are a lot of local restaurants that serve Manado cuisine such as Ikan Mujair Rica rica, Ikan Mas rica rica, Kangkung cah, Nike (small fish that live in Tondano Lake and usually be a condiment for Bubur Manado) and many more.
